Our Birmingham office is in the heart of Birmingham's Legal District, directly next to the Magistrates' Court, and a short walk away from the Crown Court.

Mary Monson Solicitors has defended cases throughout the West Midlands, the Black Country and beyond to the East Midlands, involving complex and serious high profile cases, including murder, carousel fraud, conspiracy, armed robbery and drug importation.
We also have a thriving magistrates and police interview department which deals with all offences lower down the scale of seriousness.

Derek Larkin
Derek is a key member our Birmingham office.
Derek is a Legal Executive and Criminal Advocate with 37 years of experience in law.  He is a lawyer with a reputation for straight-talking and is trusted for his expertise throughout the West Midlands.

Previously Derek has served as the President of The Institute of Legal Executives.

Derek is qualified to attend at police stations, to represent clients at the Magistrates' Court and to prepare cases for the Crown Courts.

Facilities and Location

We are located in the historic Coleridge Chambers, a 19th century Grade II listed building in the Art Nouveau style. It is in the centre of Birmingham on Corporation Street. It is a five minute walk from the New Street and Snow Hill Railway Stations.
There is lift access to the office.
